In trying to date the era of this purse, this is what I found. "The Victorian Era is the period on which the majority of the steampunk subculture is focused on. This era consisted of Queen Victoria's reign from 20 June 1837 until her death on 22 January 1901. Steampunk will also often spill over into the Edwardian Era which came after Queen Victoria died." That being said, the purses that I've sold in the past that are this style vintage, have been stamped inside with early 1900's dating. Although I do not see a stamp on this bag, it is safe to say it's within the same time period. It is a broad time period, but without the stamp, I can only stay in the general era. The purse is all leather with an olive green suede interior, complete with 2 pockets inside, one carrying a vintage mirror. There is a lovely leather handle as well. A superior purse with an unmatched vintage quality that has obviously withstood the test of time. You will love it! Leather is nice with light wear and aging and no structural damage noted. Lacing is very good as well. Very mild drying, wear and mild loss of surface color. I do see a few scratches on the front as shown. Frame is strong and straight with the usual and expected tarnish, I have not attempted to clean or condition, I will leave that up to the new owner. Suede interior is very nice with mild aged toning, pockets are fine as well. The little will come with it, but is virtually unusable. Other than that, this is a great purse, many, many years left to use. Measures just under 9" tall and 6.75" wide at the widest point, add an additional length of 6.5" for the strap drop.
