BREATHTAKING RED VINTAGE 50S 3 PC DRESS 160 INCH SWEEP
 | Item #: 1000236 Click on image to see more pictures! This is a 2 piece set, consisting of a spaghetti strap dress and a bolero jacket. It is truly stunning, I added extra photos, but if they are too small, email me I'll send more. There is red velvet trim on the dress as well as the jacket, and even at the cuffs of the jacket! The skirt is nice and full, would nicely accomodate a crinoline slip underlay if you have one. The fabric feels like a rayon, I'm sure this is dry clean only. There is a thin belt that also goes with the dress. The vintage size tag reads 15, but you must go by the measurements, as sizes are much, much different today. The bust of the dress will fit a 36, possibly a 38 because it is darted; the waist is 28, hips are free fitting, length is 45 inches. For the bolero jacket, the shoulders are 15 inches, sleeves are 23 inches, length is 16 inches. Also, just so that you know, the sweep of the skirt is just over 160 inch circumference, in case you are looking for a crinoline slip! The condition is lovely, you will need to dry clean this before wearing as it was pre-worn and has a few spots, they should come right out. There is a tiny hole near the belt line, shouldn't be a problem with the jacket and the with the belt, also an easy repair. Measurement Questions? Price: 85.00 |
