The outer trim of beading has come undone, obviously as shown, but remarkably, the beaded flowers on the front and back are literally intact. I personally would just remove the loose strand and carry this bag as is. The first thing that comes to mind is old western days, when the ladies carried elaborate hand beaded purses like this. It is silk lined with no issues I can see inside. I am calling this a steampunk era purse, which actually spilled over from Edwardian to Victorian days. I know that covers a lot of ground but it's hard to pinpoint exact dates sometimes. It measures 8.75" across and 7" tall (add 5.5" for handle drop). Contact me for additional photos or inquiries.
