HANDMADE VINTAGE NATIVE AMERICAN SUEDE/LEATHER BEADED POUCH / HANDBAG / PURSE / WRISTLET / MEDICINE BAG

Item #: 1003677 Click on image to see more pictures! This authentic, handmade/hand sewn bag, very old, possibly late 1800's or older, as young as the early 1900's. The outside is a soft suede, whereas the inside clearly looks like leather, I'm not sure how that is crafted, but it's certainly authentic. There is a drawstring closure and it opens much larger than you would expect. There is a tassle at the one end of the drawstring and beading on the bottom and along the sides, as well as the front and back hand beaded butterflies. One butterfly is missing 2 beads from her antenna, the rest are amazingly still intact. Quite an interesting and attractive little piece that can be used or actually displayed in a shadowbox. It measures 7.5" long (add 2.5" for the beads) and 4" wide at the widest point. Some soiling, as expected, I have not attempted any altering or cleaning.
