VINTAGE EARLY 1900'S STEAMPUNK DEEPEST BLUE VELVET EDWARDIAN SILVER FRAME BEADED KISS LOCK HANDBAG PURSE

This purse can be put into the Steampunk category, because of the simple fact that although Steampunk started in the Victorian era, it was known to have spilled into the Edwardian era as well, this purse being from the 1910's. I do believe it is a hand beaded, hand crafted beauty. The frame itself makes the purse, especially with the pink gems! The deep blue velvet has worn in spots, beading is in need of some TLC, so much potential here! The lining is likely silk, shows a bit of tattering on the top edges where it's sewn to the frame, but the inside is wonderful. I love that it opens with a kiss lock, squared design, and has the chain handle as well. A super piece of history, I really love this little treasure. It measures 7" tall by 7.5" wide (add an additional 5.5" for the chain drop). Steampunk, Wild West...it's all pretty awesome! Measurement Questions? Price: 110.00
