INCREDIBLY LOVELY VINTAGE 1950'S ORIGINAL LILLIAN VERNON CORP. 100% SILK LUXURY ROBE / PEIGNOIR - M - BUST UP TO 48"

Item #: 1004048 Click on image to see more pictures! The Lillian Vernon company launched in 1956, this robe appears to date back to one of the original pieces made, if you judge by the tag inside. It boasts to be 100% silk, elegant and refined, tailored and luxurious. The color is typical of the classic "peachy pink" of the times. It's very soft, no holes or tears, but a few tiny spots, one on the breast as shown and one on the center back. These should launder or soak out, they don't appear to be major. There are two 6.5" pockets, original belt loop still comes with it. It is sized as a M but the bust will actually fit up to 48", kind of a OSFA I would say. The length from shoulder to hem is 51". A wonderful testament to the simpler, but much more elegant times. The vintage necklace goes fabulous, but it's not included - see my other listings and you will find it for sale as well!
