Item #: 1004154 Click on image to see more pictures! This is certainly a lovely piece for your antique porcelain collection! Made by Arnart, 1960s made in Japan - crossed swords are a faux mark meant to imitate Meissen. - foil sticker on the bottom. It is 6" long and about 2.25" tall, I don't see any major issues. The lid has elegant and romantic scenes of Victorian couples and fanciful gold designs surrounding the top and the bottom. Silent butlers were used for the discreet removal of crumbs and ashes from the table and then carried away to be disposed of. Also, I am told, called a purse ashtray. Surely used as a display piece for modern times, just so pretty. I would venture to say that this would look lovely on a vintage vanity as well. It is numbered, but I can't quite make out what the numbers are, I do see "77" for certain. There era is likely 1950's, possible 1960's. Measurement Questions? Price: 49.00 |
