DUG UP IN COLORADO - ROCKY MOUNTAINS - VINTAGE LATE 1800'S FANCY COLLAPSIBLE METAL DRINKING / WATER / TRAVEL CUP - GOLD MINING DAYS?

Item #: 1004177 Click on image to see more pictures! The story behind this is interesting. I acquired this from a lady who found it by accident when she dug on her property. She cleaned it up as best as she could and researched it. She told me that what she found is that it's from the late 1800's. I live in Colorado, she does as well, she found it in the mountain region. I was very tempted to keep it longer, as it's got a cool back story. What I like to believe is that it was from the Pike's Peak gold mining days around 1859. I suppose we will never know for sure, but the fact that it was long buried, is a very neat thing in itself. The cup stands 3" tall. I welcome any thoughts or comments! Measurement Questions?
