Item #: 1004290 Click on image to see more pictures! A wonderful blast from a truly sweet era, I'm guessing these to be 1940's, but they could be older. They are trunk style rayon panties, stretchable material with a very soft rayon gusset. They are sized as a Small, in new/old stock condition. I would say that they would be an X- Small by modern standards, so please go by the measurements. When gently stretched, the waistband will go up to about 25-26" - although you may want to replace the band at some point, as it feels like it's drying out, quite common. Hips are 20-27", leg openings 14-15", side length unstretched is 16", rise 14". A little background - it comes from the liquidation of a small family store that closed in the 1980's, after having operated since the early 1900's, by immigrants from Germany. I received some items from the great-great granddaughter of the store's founders, who discovered this treasure trove of never-worn new vintage lingerie sealed in boxes in her parents house, where they'd been saved since the closing of the store in the 1980's.
