This comes from the liquidation of a small family store that closed in the 1980's, after having operated since the early 1900's, by immigrants from Germany. I received some items from the great-great granddaughter of the store's founders, who discovered a treasure trove of never-worn new vintage lingerie sealed in boxes in her parents house, where they'd been saved since the closing of the store in the 1980's. Most of the items are believed to be from the 1930's-1940's. These particular panties are a soft, stretchy cotton, vintage size M. No manufacturer tag, but the price was $1! The style is subject to opinion, I'm calling them pantaloons, trunk panties, your choice. I don't see any issues, outside of a storage scent, should air or launder out. I have several pairs, so on occasion it's not uncommon to find storage stains here and there. Keep in mind, I don't know the exact era, could even be Edwardian, we sellers have to guesstimate sometimes :) Waist is 18-34", hips up to 41", leg openings 13-24", length is 19" unstretched, rise 14" and the inseam is 5".
