VINTAGE 19TH CENTURY WILCOX QUADRUPLE SILVER PLATE LAVISH FOOTED TEAPOT / COFFEE POT SERVER W/ HINGED LID
Item #: 1004332 Click on image to see more pictures! This is a quadruple plate silver plated teapot/server/coffee pot. Although a bit faded and rubbed off, the name on the bottom is Wilcox (1867-1961). Quadruple plate is said to be just plated with four times as much silver, not plated four unique times. Truly an elegant centerpiece, undoubtedly passed on through generations and lovingly serving as a traditional piece in some upscale family of bygone days. There is some tarnishing, please see the photos, as they are part of the description. If you look closely at the feet, they look just like horse hooves, very interesting. The lid is hinged, no problems there. It stands 11.5" tall, a nice heavy piece. Measurement Questions? Price: 135.00 |
