 | Item #: 1005126 Click on image to see more pictures! This lovely gown is made by Harry Keiser, definitely upscale for the time. It has an empire waistline, velvet belt and bow that have snaps to secure them, sheer overlay, cap sleeves, metal zipper down the back. I've seen Keiser gowns with raw silk overlays, but there are no tags to indicate the fabric on this dress. The inside layer is acetate, and the outside does feel and mimic raw silk, but I can't be sure. Please look at the close ups and maybe you can tell. Definitely a dry clean only dress. The underarms are not stained, a bit crinkled from wear though. The velvet should flatten out more when you have it cleaned and pressed. The entire dress has the sheer overlay. The only flaws noted are pictured, a dot on the left side near the hemline, a very faint stain that can hardly be noticed and a pin hole near the bottom as well. All of these are minor, overall it is a fabulous dress in a color that will make that grand entrance you're hoping for! It is very flowing, you'll glide wherever you go!
