OUTSTANDING VINTAGE 1940'S BURGUNDY RED & BLACK TWEED WOOL SHEARED BEAVER LINED SUIT SHORT JACKET / SKIRT L

Item #: 1005354 Click on image to see more pictures! A very smart and upscale 2 piece suit, 1940-50's era. Purchased at a Chicago estate sale, this is a very heavy, stylish tweed wool and beaver suit. The skirt is fully lined, metal side zipper and hook closure on the hip. The lining and collar of the suit jacket is lined with extremely soft sheared beaver, sleeves are lined with a rayon material. There are no tags, but it is likely a designer set from this elegant era. It will be very warm, due to the weight, it will be expensive to ship internationally. I measured the bust inside from armpit to armpit - 23" across, so double that for the maximum bust size. The jacket length is 24" from shoulder to hem in the front, sleeves are 18.5" from shoulder to cuff, there are little crescent shaped pockets on each side. The skirt has a waist of 28", hips are 42", length is 25". I've pictured the inside lining of the jacket, it appears in lovely condition, be sure to see the close ups of the armpits, a little more wear, which is expected. The color is a burgundy red and black, tweed design. I'm calling this a Large, please go by the measurements for a proper fit.
