This is certainly a great find - vintage early 1900's, Edwardian era, called a Pigeon Pouter blouse. The idea is (as I learned from a lovely fellow Etsy friend), was to create a "S" shape. Taken from the link she sent me, here is an excerpt that describes how a corset was worn underneath and added to the look of the day - "The corset was too tightly laced at the waist and so forced the hips back and the drooping monobosom was thrust forward in a pouter pigeon effect creating an S shape." The blouse is frilly and wonderful, has tiny hook & eye closures in the back, measures for a 36 bust, please email me if you need additional measurements. The condition is lovely for the age, does have the usual small holes, but overall it is a really wonderful collectible piece. Would make a great display or museum piece, even a prop for a play!
