STEAMPUNK VINTAGE 1920-30'S FAUX JEWELED & LAVISHLY DESIGNED BEADED HANDBAG / PURSE / EVENING BAG ACCESSORY

Item #: 1004002 Click on image to see more pictures! Such a brilliant evening bag that was surely an upscale accessory for a refined lady of her day. This is a heavy bag, intricately beaded with a very ornamental frame, faux jewels of various colors adorning the one side. The bag itself is 8.25" from the top of the frame to the bottom of the purse, add 6" more for the chain handle drop. It is just a pinch over 7" at the widest point and the frame is 6" wide. The purse is 100 years old, so some of the beads have fallen away, as you can see. As a matter of fact, a few more will likely fall and be in the packaging when it gets to you. The frame has faux jewels, a few are missing, see photo. You can easily replace them. The inside has a mirror that is still attached, but not by much, as it is frayed. The mirror is aged as well. The frame snaps shut beautifully, and it lays flat when shut, see the photos. This is not perfect, nor is it expected to be for the era it comes from. I am guesstimating 1920's, I don't see any markings. Measurement Questions? Price: 355.00
