This heavy silver tone metal letter/document holder has a double ink well feature - just add the glass components inside if you wish to use it. As you can see, the photos tell the story of the ornately themed piece. I am tempted to keep this myself! I have photographed the ink well lids fully open, they are a little offset, not sure if there is a way to remedy that, but I don't think it matters overall, just my opinion. No markings to show a maker name, research has indicated this to be a 19th century item.
