Here I have a pure white nightgown with triple spaghetti straps, chiffon overlay with a nylon tricot lining and a few nicely placed lace appliques. There is also a built on satin waist tie. It appears this gown has been slightly modified. There is some elastic that has been added to the straps to lengthen them if needed and a strip of elastic under the bust that extends all the way around the back (see photo). The added strap elastic can only be seen from the back. I imagine this was done along with the strap extension to perk up the bust area. The inner elastic cannot be detected from the outside. Done by a skilled seamstress, nice work. I don't consider these flaws, but they are worth noting. The only thing that can be considered a flaw is a few tiny holes at the hemline of the inner layer of nylon tricot (see photo). This truly cannot be seen when worn, relatively minor. Other than the above, this is a gorgeous ethereal white nightgown, well worth the purchase. Bust is 38", waist is 40", hips 47", length is 43". Measurement Questions? Price: 35.00 |
